It's most definitely the lighting, but if you want to show the wheel design then best to stick with a clean brushed finish. I like black wheels as well, but it's a completely different look.

Where I live, owning these sports cars isn't fun at all, I don't like to take my cars out, the streets here often have a pot hole the size of a small tub and I CONSISTENTLY scrape something when I take them out. Now, I pretty much stick to my Toyota now.
