Video of first testdrive with a 16M
A good friend of mine invited me to test his brand new Scuderia 16M on the German Autobahn. He played around with a 3-series BMW, limeted to 250 km/h.

I know, I hope our children will also be able to enjoy the autobahn when they have grown up, but I am not sure they will...
(safety, environmetal issues etc.)

What's with letting off the gas??? You have almost no traffic and open left lane and your buddy let's of the throttle for every car he passes..... I know your country men towing the caravans are scary and barely look in the rear mirror but come on, this is the least traffic I have seen on any stretch of non-limited Autobahn, auf geht's mach mal Bleifuss bitte ....

The car only had 160-180 km on the odo when we filmed this, so this car was completely fresh (he picked it up at the dealer the day before). I don't think you push your cars to the limit within the first miles? The driver was trying to get to know the car, all he had driven with this car was 80 km/h roads.
