Good question. There was a kid that I met 5 years ago when he was 18. He asked a few of us Fcar owners to come to a BMW meet. It sounded like fun so we looked at it as a good excuse for a drive. That was the first time we met. He continued to show up at events every year. This year he asked if he could ride shotgun on this particular run. A couple of people said yes and he spent the 4 days driving and partying with us. He was a passenger in the titanium 360 (actually my first Ferrari) all weekend.

 

Cool story. It's funny how "by-chance" awesome things like this happen. Well if they ever need a 1992 Ford Escort support car or a small-time car blogger to tag along, I am wide open next October
