Cool STUTTGART PERFORMANCE/RSS: Scuderia 16M with Novitec Rosso/KW HLS-2

"Here are some pics of the Ferrari Scuderia 16M with the Novitec Rosso/KW HLS-2 kit. The Scuderia was delivered to us from the dealership at a rally car ride height with 2+ inches of fender gap. We actually considered putting on mud flaps.

Objective: Lower the car to a more aggressive stance increasing visual appeal. Achieve better high speed grip and stability by lowering the chassis closer to the ground, thereby increasing the aerodynamic efficiency and down force generated by the front spoiler, underbody and rear diffuser. Do all of the above while retaining OE drivability of the car (Not scraping the Scuds nose on every driveway and speed bump in town).

Solution: Novitec Rosso/KW Suspension HLS-2 kit. This kit works with the Scuderia’s OE suspension dampers and comes with properly calibrated replacement springs and helper springs. Once the install was complete, we set the desired ride height, corner balanced, and aligned the car.

The system lowers automatically if you forget it’s in the “UP” Position around 60mph. This kit is must if you own a Scuderia/F430 car, it allows you to have the best of both worlds, a lowered car that is still practical around town."

Nice job guys

Wow. Very interesting kit. Novitec is one the tuning companies I really like.

Looks great.

Ferrari should consider not making their cars with 3 inches of wheel/fender gap. These are top tier sports cars, not Honda Accords. Okay, I'm off my soap box now.

4x4 status on this stock F430 and 599 GTB. They should look more like TK's SCUD MSL!

The 16M still looks high in the front. Are 2 pictures in "up" mode?
Is this kit just springs, or.. ?
Love white 16M.

Looks like a great kit from Novitec. Guys, I was under the impression that the f430/scuds/16ms don't need new springs as they all have stock adjustable dampers for ride height and the stock springs should suffice.. Am I mistaken???

i completely agree with you, i hate how ferrari makes their cars with the tires tucked so far in the fender, it would look so much better with a flush wheel/tire setup

I believe you're right. I've heard some Ferrari F430 owners say they've lowered their car to a "Euro spec" ride height. Maybe an owner/expert mechanic can chime in.

The Novitec KW hydraulic adjustable coilover kit runs about $12000 plus install. Here's another great option: https://teamspeed.com/forums/458-430...pe-spyder.html

it's a US DOT thing isn't it? Our cars here have more gap in the wheel well and softer suspension setup than the euro ones.
