Why are car manufacturers releasing new cars with the side mirrors on the door itself rather than the triangular part next to the window ? New Law ?

I think it might have to do with air flow.

I'm pretty sure that's not it. I can't explain it but I seriously doubt that mounting the mirrors on the door is more aerodynamic.

This car is beautiful and I loved it since the first pics came out. I cant wait until Ferrari comes out with the Scuderia or CS.
