I see kids on the side of the road all the time. And let's face it...kids will be kids. He absolutely did the right thing in swerving to avoid hitting the child. Given the same circumstances I think anyone of us would have done the same thing.

The kid could've popped into the street at the last minute heading toward the middle, anybody's reaction would be to swerve right in that situation.

Yeah, like most of North Dallas it's extremely mixed... Addison has a great night life though.

If you ever come through again give me a holler, there's always car stuff going on, great restaurants, blah blah blah...

i would have slammed on the brakes and wished the kid the best. hopefully he would have been wearing a helmet and would escape with a little road rash.

Really nice area, surprised I haven't seen it on the news.
Hope your not training to become a detective with that astute observation.

The punk ass in the Pontiac Grand Prix who literally ran me over when I was 13 and dragged my limp, unconscious body down the street, hitting three other parked cars before his could finally come to a halt, never thought about swerving. I guess Ferrari owners are more courteous.

This is clearly a good reason to equip all vehicles worldwide with carbon ceramic brakes.

Yeah I wish the person who decided to run me over when I was 13 riding my bike out of the driveway did the same. Ironically the woman's husband drove a 355, but I got hit by a ****ing beige Corolla.
