Collector items almost exclusively...great for shows and completeness sake. For example, 20yrs later, an F40 without a luggage set is considered by most as "incomplete", so the hunt for a set begins.
I think its just attention to detail and the small things that make the ownership experience special..

They match the stripe Jamie...if I had ordered the silver stripe with tan alcantara, thats the way it would be made. I believe they did the same for the coupes as well if luggage was pre-ordered at the time of speccing.
