Yeah. That has some bits and pieces from a Scud but it is an F430 under the skin.

Really??? Because he put the front bumper and stripes from a Scud on his own car? Looks perfectly fine to me.

Does he gain any aero benefits from adding the bumper? Obviously the stripes do nothing but add looks. Are the wheels lighter than the standard 430 wheels? That would be an added benefit.....

You're kidding me, right? It just means he's a poseur in my eyes, that's all. It would be really over the top if he actually put the Scuderia badge on the back and pass his 430 off as a legitimate Scuderia.

Let me ask it in this way then? Is Porsche being a poseur by offering an aero kit/bumper for the C2 that looks like the GT3 front bumper; or people swapping a GT3 front bumper onto their Carrera? It's the same thing IMO.

Jason do you not have GT3RS wheels or updated LED tails on your Turbo? Similar idea, no?

I think an upgrade like a bumper or some other parts individually would be fine. Completing the look with stripes, sideskirts, wheels, mirrors, etc is a bit much.

A Scuderia badge would be a federal offense, but I'm pretty sure the owner has not done that. Most people wont know the difference.

A minor change is okay in my opinion but a near complete change and then trying to actually pass their car off as something they're not is a big no no in my book. I don't go changing my badge from a Turbo to a GT3 and say it's that car. That's just my opinion though...your mileage may vary.

BTW, my updated LED tails are in fact from a newer Turbo so it's still a Turbo. I chose not to get the vents from a GT3 because it'd have messed up the aerodynamics having those up there but no wing in the back to compensate for the added downforce.

That certainly is another way of looking at it. He could have modified a Scuderia to be more like a 430

Anyways getting back on topic...my Scud at night with some strobes
