I like the colour white but the only thing that makes me curious is wont the protective layering aka clear guard will turn to yellow by time, In our region the heat and dust might be a contributor to that as I've seen Porsche Turbo's with the side clear guard under the ducts ''yellow'' over time, is that the case ?

The factory pieces are already "yellowing" as soon as they come off the boat. This is actually what we termed: "clearcoat effect"

Essentially with a white car, the more clear applied to the surface (chemical or film), the yellower it gets. This is also the same if you look at the bumper and front fenders of a white vehicle and notice that the fenders are whiter. This is due to how paint turns out on a plastic bumper vs. a fender made from sheet metal. With our Clear Guard system, we recommend on white cars to have the entire panels covered so that there is not a distinct demarcation line of where the bra ends. When the vehicle is dirty, this effect would also be enhanced.

If you take a look at the Porsche factory pieces at the rear fender flares, these are fairly thick pieces (estimated at approximately 20 mils thick). This compounds the clearcoat effect, whereas our Clear Guard system is 8.5 mils thick. As for heat and more adverse weather conditions, it does require more upkeep and maintenance to ensure the film stays clear. Our products here were designed specifically for that: clear bra, paint protection film, tint, auto tint, safety film, chip paint, kits, custom, car

We recommend our PF1 line of products to be used on the car once ever 2-3 weeks.
