TeamSpeed.com exclusive! Ferrari 16M Scuderia Spider officially released
#33
As others have mentioned, I don't understand the reason for making a spider version of the Scud. I don't even think it looks that great. The iPod Touch in the dash is sick though! Especially if it has some of the new vehicle data-logging software that is coming out for the touch in the near future that can read directly from the OBDII port with a wifi or bluetooth adapter. Like this software from Palmer Performance Engineering which logs track times, reads DTCs, uses GPS to accurately measure vehicle speed, acceleration, 0-60, 1/4 times, etc. as well as uses the accelerometer as a G-meter:

By the way, this software is a TEAMSPEED EXCLUSIVE that is still in the prototype form, but will be able to be purchased from the iPod Apps store soon. This is different from all the other software out there in that it's much more accurate and this has a dyno function that can read very accurate horsepower figures consistent with those from a Mustang dyno as long as the weight (including driver) of the vehicle is programmed in within +/- 50 lbs. The bluetooth/wifi adapters for the OBDII ports are almost finished and will be available soon.
I don't work with Palmer or any of their sister companies, but I saw their product at SEMA and was blown away.
Sorry for going off topic... Just thought it was cool and applicable to the new Scud.
