I never understood why F cars don't have those paddles installed to rotate with the wheel. It is much easier to use that way and much more practical. Like on all M cars..
It is also how it was meant to be in the first place as Ferrari calls them F1 gearbox but don't use it as used on F1 cars which is rotating with the wheel. Rather misleading..

When you are on the track turning hard with another driver breathing down the back of your neck and need to change gears it is nice to know for sure which paddle is which…
