According to alot of different sources, yes. Sometime in 2009.

 

Hard to believe that Ferrari would release a Spyder version. Seems to go against everything the Scuderia stands for! Looks great, but I'd take the coupe.

 

What a looker, it is starting to remind me of how I interpreted the cars when ferrari had outstanding models in its lineup such as the 355,550.

 

I agree, but to a lot of people Scuderia just stands for more $$$ than a F430. (pissing contest)

The Photoshops look awesome. But if Ferrari's going to make a Scuderia Spider, I think it needs to look radically different than the F430 Spider. Since the Scuderia is a street-legal racecar, its Spider counterpart should more closely resemble a barchetta than a convertible. The Scuderia is bare bones - so why should its open-air sister have convertible top amenities...? The windshield should be low-slung and the roll hoops shouldn't be hoops, but rather full pieces integrated with the body. The interior should be completely water proof with holes to drain water. No electronics, no Alcantara - just bucket seats, a steering wheel, a shifter and a towel to dry off the seats after rainfall.
