TUNE IT! SAFE! Debuts the fastest police car in the world at the 2011 Essen Motor Show

Unveiled this week at the 2011 Essen Motor Show, TUNE IT! SAFE! shows its latest police liveried project built to promote responsible tuning. Outfitted with a carbon fiber body kit, sports-tuned suspension, massive carbon ceramic brakes, Recaro seats, roll bar, and 19-inch wheels with Hankook tires.

The Audi ABT R8 GTR is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine with 620 PS (456 kW / 612 hp) and 550 Nm (406 lb-ft) of torque. The impressive power-plant enables the police liveried R8 to dash from 0-100 km/h in just 3.2 seconds, and tops out at 325 km / h (202 mph).
