This Stuffed McLaren P1 Will Make You Rethink Your Friendships
And all the world’s enthusiasts wept as they gazed upon the fallen corpse of the beautiful and staggering piece of machinery that was once a mighty McLaren P1. Truly, this was a sad day, not only for the person that owned this hyper-rare hypercar, but for all those that would have seen it driving in the flesh around Washington D.C.
From the information we’ve been able to glean about the situation, the car wasn’t being driven by its owner, but rather by the owner’s friend since they were out of the country at the time. From the lone picture, it’s not exactly apparent what actually happened, all we can see is that the pristine carbon fiber bodywork has been torn apart, leaving a gaping hole along the passenger side of the McLaren.
Hopefully the monocoque chassis has remained intact and the only thing broken was the exterior of the car, otherwise, this will mean that out of the 375 McLaren P1s originally built, only 373 are still among the land of the living.
I don’t know about you, but if I had a McLaren P1, I might let others drive it, but I’d surely be in the car with them.
