It Sure Looks Like New ‘Top Gear’ Host Chris Evans Got Car Sick

It’s pretty rare when the focus of a photo that includes a brand new Audi R8 is the person standing next to it. But that’s the case when somebody who is supposed to be the new host of the legendary car show Top Gear looks like he’s about to hurl after a drive in the supercar. You know, because that’s literally going to be his job.

These two photos of Chris Evans were snapped during some track runs in Monterey, California, along with his co-host Sabine Schmitz, and they don’t exactly provide any optimism for the future of the show. The reason TG is so great, along with the hilarious hosts, is because cars are taken to the extremes and put in completely outrageous situations. Driving fast on a track isn’t even an outrageous situation, and Evans already appears to be having some difficulties. Maybe he’s just under the weather or had a bad tuna salad sandwich for lunch?

Meanwhile, the newly caked-up Top Gear crew of old is out there rolling around in the greatest supercars in the world in preparation for their new show launch. How you feelin’, BBC?
