Iconic luxury retailer Neiman Marcus recently released its 2019 list of Fantasy Gifts. It’s a list of costly items and experiences they compile every year and sell exclusively through their brand. This year, the list includes this bonkers James Bond special Aston Martin DBS Superleggera.
While the obvious James Bond link is merely being an Aston Martin, this one takes it a step further. The design of this DBS came in part from Bond himself, or at least the guy who plays him. Actor Daniel Craig and designers from the iconic British sports car manufacturer put their heads together to come up with this beauty. It comes exclusively in ‘Inky Blue,’ and is exclusively available in the fantasy gift package. The price? $700,007, obviously.
While that’s a pretty astonishing number, it gets you far more than just the car. Additionally, you get two tickets to the premiere of the new James Bond film No Time To Die. Furthermore, American Airlines provides you a flight to London so you can watch your own 007 Aston Martin roll off of the assembly line. If that isn’t quite enough to sell you, an Omega all-platinum Seamaster Diver 300M with a unique black case is also a part of the package. Hardcore Bond fans will know it as 007s signature watch brand. Care to guess how many of those watches exist? If you guessed seven, you’d be right.
While this package is the ultimate in lavish self spoiling, it does also include a significant charitable act. With each one of these packages sold, 12% of the total purchase price will be donated to The Opportunity Network, an organization that assists underprivileged high-achieving high schoolers with college tours and career exposure. Neiman Marcus states their minimum donation to The Opportunity Network is $330,000.
Overall, this is an excellent opportunity to get your hands on a very limited Aston Martin, while helping fund a great charity. If you’re in the market, reservations for this package opened on October 17th. Remember, though; there’s only seven available. Get to it quick!
