So here’s a one-of-one for you. Imagine you are a royal heir in 1986. Helicopter transport just wont do. Though you come off as supremely badass when you disembark the chopper, people can’t fawn over you when you’re in flight. So what about a car? You suddenly get an idea: Why not just cut up a Testarossa?

That’s an easy task when you are an heir to none other than the FIAT group.

This car belonged to Gianni Agnelli, who was probably one of the most powerful men in Italian industry. Given FIAT’s reach is far and wide, when Agnelli wanted a Testerossa Spider, he got one, even if the company didn’t make one. Agnelli didn’t just take a red one and remove the roof though; he had this one specially built.

Painted in silver with blue accents, this prancing horse has every ounce of presence that a head honcho could desire. And now, as the title of this article suggests, it’s for sale. The auction will be hosted by classic car auctioneers ARTCURIAL at their Retromobile auctions next February. Better yet, it’s just been serviced and is ready to drive away.
