Member Car of the Month: August 2013

Powered by a 5.7 litre V10 engine producing 612 hp, the Porsche Carrera GT is still one of our favorite exotics of all time here on Teamspeed, and as the summer starts to wind down, it seemed rather fitting to feature this open-air supercar one more time.

As we froth at the bit for the first few Porsche 918 spyder’s to wind up in members garages, there is still no mistaking that with its three pedal configuration, the Carrera GT is the last of the “mans-man” supercars. Just one firm grip of the beechwood gearknob, (which pays homage to the wooden gearknob used in the Porsche 917 Le Mans racers) and you know you are in for the thrill of a lifetime as you start to roll away in what many have called the best sounding porsche of all time.

With that being said this example owned by member GoFastKindaGuy is sublime in its sophisticated color combo, and its ny pleasure to share this as member car of the month for August 2013.
