Sportec Reveals Tuning Program For New 911

The tuners are in full effect sharing their interpretations on the new Porsche 911 Carrera, and Swiss tuner Sportec is no stranger to this arena. On the heels of the Geneva Motor Show, Sportec reveals the SP 370, based on the 2012 Porsche 911 (Type 991). The SP 370 features a lowered sports suspension, (-25mm) and handsome 20-inch alloys wrapped with sticky Michelin PS2 K1 tires.

For some extra boost, Sportec remapped the ECU and and added a free-flowing sports exhaust system to bump the 3.4-liter six-cylinder to produce 370 PS (272 kW / 365 hp) and 415 Nm (306 lb-ft) of torque. Sportec reports the tweaked 911 1ill accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 4.7 seconds, and top out at 295 km/h (183 mph).
