San Marino Motor Classic Features Amazing Collection of Rare Rides
June 10 event in SoCal offers plenty never-before-displayed cars, including a collection of Paul Newman racers & early Lambo exotics!
Living in the car enthusiast’s haven of Southern California can be good and bad. After all, you’re pretty used to being treated to seemingly endless car events chock-full of amazing rides. So, obviously, it takes something special to really get us excited these days. We’re here to tell you that the 8th annual San Marino Motor Classic is that something special. From brass and nickel classics to rare exotics, there’ll be a little bit of everything at Lacy Park in San Marino, California, on June 10, including some very special race cars and Lamborghinis.
Ten of the 350 cars at this year’s San Marino Motor Classic are examples raced by actor Paul Newman. These Newman racers, on public display for the first time together, come to us from TV host and Newman nut Adam Carolla. It’s a showing as diverse as the man himself, with Datsun and Nissan racers alongside the Porsche 935 Newman raced in the 1979 24 Hours of Le Mans.
Lamborghini fans also have a reason to get excited about the San Marino Motor Classic. This year’s event features a special display of raging bulls encompassing some of the earliest and rarest of the breed, including some that organizers promise have never before been shown to the public. Other exciting rides on display run the gamut from American muscle cars to Japanese and European classics.
