Rumormill: Ferrari 458 Spider will feature a retractable hardtop

Our sources tell us to expect the long awaited spider variant of the 458 Italia to be unveiled this fall, with production starting right after the new year. The spider will feature a retractable hardtop and we expect the roof to be constructed of the finest lightweight composites on the market today. Expect the first EU deliveries at the end of Q1, UK deliveries to start in Q3. We also expect some technology improvements to keep the 458 ahead of it’s competition.
