RS inspired courses adorn Porsche Experience Centre at Silverstone

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of its RennSport models – more widely known as RS, of course – three new driving courses have been launched at the Porsche Experience Centre, Silverstone. In 1972, the 911 2.7 Carrera RS became the first Porsche to bear the ‘RennSport’ designation. Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show that year, the 2.7 RS was developed from the 911 S and was imbued with raw track ability. Built in a limited series of just over 1,500, the original RS formed the blueprint for much of the on-track success Porsche continues to enjoy to this day.
