Bone-Chilling Ferrari FXX K Roars at Daytona
This Is How Ferrari’s Creme De La Creme Customers Spend Their Weekends. Well, Besides Bathing in Champagne and Caviar
It’s one thing to have a good enough fortune (and credit) to buy a Ferrari. It’s a completely different thing to be invited by Ferrari to buy one of their mega-complicated, developmental, insanely-powerful race cars. This Speedracer38 video shows us what it’s like to belong in that second category.
The Ferrari FXX K is the ultimate iteration of Ferrari’s pursuit for road-racing superiority. The original Ferrari Enzo gave way to the hardcore FXX, which then sprung a 59xx race car based on the Ferrari 599. Eventually, all developmental racers consummated in the FXX Evoluzione. Fast forward a few years, a few thousand hours in the wind-tunnel, and many more millions in carbon fiber work. And now the V12-powered, hybrid-assisted, 1,034-horsepower Ferrari FXX K is here to slay.

You can witness this speed demon lap the Daytona International Speedway, thanks to the incredible video above. From the moment the driver leaves the pit lane and starts banging on the paddle shifters, you can hear this monster means business. Apparently FXX Ks were reaching 208 mph before braking hard for turn one, just to give you an idea.
Enjoy the vid, and prepare your ears for one of the sweetest-sounding engines in the entire world!
