Road-Legal Ferrari FXX Will Make Your Eardrums Vibrate With Pure Joy

WAIT. Before you read any further, get some headphones, plug in your speakers, put the aux cord in your phone… whatever you have to do to get some better-quality methods of listening to audio, do it. The sound you’re about to hear does not deserve to be played on a phone or laptop speaker. The sound you’re about to hear is one of the most maniacal sounds ever recorded.

As you might be able to tell from that photo, Hampshire Photo recently had the opportunity to shoot some footage at some track where there were dozens of incredible supercars. Most notably, they captured the sound of supposedly the world’s only road-legal Ferrari FXX Evoluzione.

The FXX Evoluzione, which is still considered to have the fastest top speed of any Ferrari at 250 mph, is a car typically reserved for a specific Ferrari track. But the claim is this is the only one in the world that has been converted for road use. The car originally had an 860-horsepower 6.2-liter V12, but considering this one has been customized, there’s no telling what the power is at now. Not that it really matters. Just listen to the revving and watch the in-cabin run.
