Report: The New Aventador Roadster

According to reports previously discussed here and from Quattroroute.it, the Lamborghini Aventador roadster will have a two-piece targa style removable rigid cover, instead of the soft-top that equipped the Murciélago Roadster. Using this option for the removable roof, Lamborghini will keep the whole rear section of the car virtually unchanged: the C-pillars-the-air intakes that incorporate and transparent eyelids that reveal the V12 will be taken as such the coupe.

According to the Italian publication, the roof splits in two parts, so you can store it somewhere in the car, most likely under the bonnet. The roof panel will be made ​​of carbon fiber.

All engine and performance specs will remain the same: 6.5 liter, 700 hp, four-wheel drive, seven-speed sequential gear-box.
