Report: New Porsche 911 GT3 To Feature PDK Transmission Only

As we mentioned earlier in the week, the next-gen 911 GT3 is slated to be unveiled at the 2013 Geneva motor show next March, which we are all very excited about of course, but today we’re delivering news that some enthusiasts may cry foul about. Our sources have given us confirmation that there will be no manual transmission offered in the new GT3, only flappy paddles. Sure it will be more precise, and faster around the ring, but does this officially mark the end of the manual transmission in all our harder-core Porsche’s going forward? Sure looks that way.
