Rennsport Reunion IV at Laguna Seca
One of the largest and largest and most comprehensive gathering of both historic, modern and rare Porsche models took place at Laguna Seca this past weekend and Teamspeed.com member Jason Tang (Atomic80) was there to experience it all on our behalf. With Porsches ranging from the RS Spyder, 908, 917, 962, 930, etc all in attendance for race fans, car fanatics and each and every one of us all. The sound of the engines roaring as they passed by tickling the ear drums, you had to be there to experience the sheer joy of just being there. Jason was there to capture everything as he made my way around the track. Where else would one be able to see a team a professionals tune a highly precise RS Spyder using the latest technologies as well as mechanics tinkering with the finicky internals of an old 356 meant to be thrown around the tight corners of turn two. Metals would groan and squeak as they pounded the well worn asphalt.
With the early morning sun raising on the very first day, Jason made his way to the Laguna Seca race track taking in all of the sights and the sounds of the cars roaring by made it evident that it was all about to begin. Follow through for the amazing display of images on the forums.
