Ralph Lauren Holds Fashion Show Inside His Secret, Bunker Style Garage

Ralph Lauren wowed his fashionable guests with his collection of the world’s most coveted classics and supercars.

Ralph Lauren makes headlines because of his enigmatic taste for cars as well as for his fashion and lifestyle empire. Recently, he seized the opportunity to wow the media and fashionistas by combining both of his lifelong passions: Cars and fashion.

This video, courtesy of CARJAM TV, brings us to Ralph Lauren’s secret garage somewhere in upstate New York, where the legendary fashion mogul held a preview of his Fall 2017 collection ahead of next year’s New York Fashion Week.

Inside the museum-like, bunker style garage you’ll see a plethora of the most exquisite vintage racing Ferraris, some of the world’s most expensive early model Bugattis, along with newer hypercars like the Lamborghini Reventon, Ferrari LaFerrari, McLaren P1, and Porsche 918 Spyder. All of them spotless, and all of them ready to wow the crowd, just like his fashion designs.

During the interview, Lauren states that his passion for automobiles began at an early age when he couldn’t afford to buy a car. After he was able to purchase his first nice car he says he saw another one that he wanted to drive, so he worked hard to afford the other car, but he didn’t want to get rid of his current one, so he kept it and bought the new one. It was this kind of love he had for his cars that made him as a collector.

He goes on to mention that cars are art, and clothes are fashion, and that they don’t have much to do with each other. Whether you agree or disagree with that statement, we think we can all agree that Ralph Lauren’s runway is one of the coolest we’ve ever seen.
