Porsche Cayman GT4 Spotted!

It’s been less than a month since Porsche introduced the Cayman GTS at the 2014 Beijing Auto Show in China, and these pictures prove the mad-geniuses in Germany are working on yet another, hopped-up version of the Cayman.

It seems the big brass at Porche are no longer worried about the range-topping Cayman surpassing the base-model Carrera, as with less weight, and at least 375hp (we’re guessing here), this surely will leave it in the dust. Rumors are suggesting this new Cayman could feature a unique engine, possibly one based on Porsche’s next generation four-cylinder, but again these are only rumors so take it with a grain of salt.

Power will be transferred to the wheels via a transmission based on the PDK box offered in the current 911 GT3, and the new GT4 will feature a stripped out cabin. Sounds rather exciting doesn’t it?
