Photoshoot: 2011 BMW Concours d’Elegance

BMWCCA hosts their annual Concours d’Elegance on the beautifully manicured grounds of Cedar River Park in Renton, WA. Although, this year’s featured car is the E90-E93 M3 there are a variety of other generations of models from BMW. The variety of models that were present was as widely variety as they come with many of them in pristine condition. There were also a number of rare and special models offered by BMW such as the BMW M1, the 507 and even the modern day Z8. Entrants had a choice to either enter their cars to be “displayed” or “judged.” Those that are displayed are given a chance to win 1st, 2nd or 3rd place in each class ranging from old to modern for each “series.”

There were also 3 different classes from People’s Choice where the public could vote for their favorite cars, Best of the Show, where one choice out of all of the judged cars were chosen. And finally the “Preservation Award” for the most well preserved vehicle usually given to a classic entrant. This is one of the finest types of car shows in the Pacific Northwest.
