Pagani Huayra Officially Confirmed for Mid-2013 U.S. Deliveries

Ever since the reveal of the Huayra, Horacio Pagani has always intended to sell his new hyper-car in the United States, but he has faced a long and difficult journey. Like its Zonda predecessor, the Huayra was constructed without air-bags and the companies request airbag exemption was rejected last summer. The company had no choice forced but to install “smart” airbags that would satisfy U.S. regulations, costing them additional $5.1 million.
