Next Generation Lotus Exige

Today our Teamspeed spies catch the boys at Lotus out and about testing the new Exige. Even though this test mule is wrapped in the typical dizzying camouflage, this Exige looks just about production ready. We can still make out that the new Exige will get a nose that looks very similar to the current Lotus Evora and that the rear also is completely different then any other current Lotus design. The new car has a much larger road presence then the Exige model it replaces. We believe that this new version is powered by the same 3.5 liter V6 engine found in the Evoras, producing 280 horsepower in the normal version and 350 horsepower in the S version.
