The New NSX Finally Gets It Ring’ On
After years of hesitation and even cancelling the final development of a V10-powered sportscar a few years ago, Honda/Acura will finally bring a successor to the famous NSX on the market in 2015.
The original one, being developed at the end of 1980’s with the help of F1-legend Ayrton Senna, was a milestone for Honda, competing with some of the most advanced sports cars of that time. And so will be the new one!
Already presented in concept form we now bring you the first photos of the final production car being tested around the Nürburgring.
Just like the first NSX, the new one will be mid-engined, powered by a 3.7-litre V6, driving the rear wheels. Additionally there will be two electric engines driving the front wheels.
This will altogether add up to a power output that should help rival such cars as the Ferrari 458 Italia or the McLaren 12C.
Production will start in a new manufacturing center in Ohio, USA, in the beginning of 2015 and prices will be most certainly no less than $110.000, which would be a bargain for a car with these performance figures.
