Get outside and get moving with AMG-branded clothes designed for an active lifestyle.

Spring is coming up, and if you’re a fan of fast Mercedes-Benzes and outdoor sports, you’re in luck. AMG has paired up with Assos of Switzerland for their new lineup of AMG Performance Wear.

Assos is well known for active wear, especially for joggers and cyclists. It’s a sensible pairing for AMG fans — always on the move, always fast, always trying to improve.

We have a love/hate relationship with a lot of automotive-themed apparel, especially ones from high-end manufacturers. A lot of it is gaudy and attracts the wrong kind of attention. After all, we’ve all seen the episode of “Friends” where Joey dresses from head to toe in loud, garish Porsche garb. We all know a guy like Joey.

Simply put, a lot of it just isn’t stylish. Thankfully, that’s not the case with this AMG/Assos collaboration. Everything is simple and classy, in black with a small, subtle AMG logo. Those who are in the know will be able to tell that you take performance very seriously, but you won’t stick out too much to everyone else.

Get Up and Move

There’s both a men’s and a women’s line of AMG Performance Wear available ready for spring. Highlights include light jackets, polos, and Under Armor-style base layers. It’s useful stuff to have around for joggers and cyclists who want to get back out there before things really warm up.

There’s also a nice long-sleeve quarter-zip shirt with a warm wool collar. The red inner fabric adds a nice splash of color to the black and grey shirt.

One item in the catalog is just a little too subtle — the black athletic socks that have the AMG logo on the sole. When your shoes are on, they’ll just look like regular black athletic socks, so we probably wouldn’t pay any extra for them.
