Koenigsegg Regera: This Is It

The outrageous Koenigsegg Regera is currently on display at the New York International Auto Show, following its March debut in Geneva, which meant we were able to get up close to it and snap some photos for you!

Although the “corral” it was kept in was reminiscent of a low-end trade show booth, the Regera, and the One:1 that stood to its left, lit up the auto show like Times Square on New Year’s. The metallic-red Regera proudly showed off its carbon fiber bits, including its lovely wheels (also carbon), and simply looked stunning — even when surrounded by many other sports and luxury cars nearby.

The One:1 is equally impressive, though less of a novelty, as we’ve grown somewhat used to seeing that body style for a few years now, starting with the CCX over a decade ago. Shockingly, the combined horsepower figure of these two cars is nearly 3,000 hp, given the Regera’s all-electric 1,500 and the One:1’s 1,360.

If you want to check these beauties out in person, head over to the show, but do so before March 26, as this pair is only sticking around for two more days!
