Jaguar’s boxster fighter spotted testing again in the alps
While the Jaguar Concept C-X16 is setting the world on fire at IAA in Frankfurt, the Jaguar test crew is out and about continuing tests on the new XE Roadster in the European Alps. Even though the baby Jaguar is still hiding it’s true design under a cut-up XK shell, we can expect it to keep some of the design characteristics of it’s big brother.
The XE will be a true two-seater sportscar and is to be targeted directly at Porsche boxster potential customers. The baby Jaguar will have a price slotted between the Boxster/Cayman and the 911. Power is expected from a 3.0 liter V6, made entirely from aluminum and delivering around 380 horsepower.
