IAA 2011: Porsche Shows the New 911

What, you expected a design revolution for the all-new Porsche 911? Nope, of course not. But how does it shape up in the flesh? Those extra four inches in the wheelbase give it a new stance for sure but it could only be a 911. And the Panamere-esque cabin is a huge step up.
Those numbers are impressive too, not least the eco stats. The now 3.4-liter Carrera has 350hp and will do 28.7mpg on the Euro Combined cycle, the 3.8-liter S hardly any thirstier. Not bad for cars able to hit 60mph in just 4.4 and 4.1 seconds respectively. You can buy your own later this year, with prices starting at $82,600 for the Carrera.
