Dodge Viper sets a new Nürburgring record

Well that sure was a short lived record for the Lexus LF-A Nürburgring Edition. After the LF-A posted a very impressive 7:14 run a few weeks ago, the boys from Detroit send out a Viper ACR to throw down a good old fashion American whoopin’ posting a 7:12 run on the ring this morning.

We have no official word yet on who was piloting the viper or which one of the two cars posted here achieved the amazing 7:12 time, but we are quite certain this is valid and official confirmation will come any minute now. Until then feel free to throw out a USA chant if you so desire.
