Morning Quickie: Porsche GT3 Blitzes the Nurburgring

2018 Porsche GT3 shows us that Stuttgart is still the king of the Ring, despite everyone else’s attempts.

Lapping the Nurburgring in order to set blistering times has come under fire recently. In fact, there was a brief period of time when the track itself prohibited manufacturers from lapping the track for corporate bragging rights. Of course, such ban didn’t last long.

Despite lap times dropping drastically as of lately, and increasing pressure from manufacturers like Lamborghini and Audi, Porsche juts showed what it’s still capable of. As this video shows here, the new 2018 Porsche GT3 was able to lap the Green Hell in just 7:12.7 minutes.
