The first Dukes of Hazzard General Lee to be auctioned off with no reserve

The very first General Lee from The Dukes of Hazzard will be up for grabs at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Scottsdale, Arizona next month. Out of the 321 destroyed during the filming of the famed Television series featuring Bo and Luke Duke constantly being chased by the law, this one is officially documented to be the 1st. Essentially ever other General Lee built was a replica of this one up for grabs. Unfortunately after the series came to an end, she sat for 23 years in a Georgia junkyard before being rescued and restored to its original condition. As it turns out jumping 16 feet in the air wasn’t very good for a charger’s health.

It should be interesting to see what the final price will be when the hammer drops as we gather it should fetch far more then the Hemi-powered General Lee replica owned by actor John Schneider that received a $450,000 final bid at Barrett-Jackson in 200.
