Ferrari Drift Car Highlights Sideways Smoky Madness

By -

Most drift cars prioritize cost over elaborate style. But this Pro Drift Ferrari flies in the face of convention in every single way.

For the most part, drifting is a sport ripe with cars like old Corvettes, BMW 3-Series, Nissan 240s, and Mustangs. Mostly because they fit the formula – rear-wheel drive, cheap, and easily to modify and maintain. Then there are those that choose to do things a little bit differently. Sure, they stick to the tried-and-true rear drive car with loads of power under the hood. But things like “cheap” go out the window when you’re drifting a freaking Ferrari.

But that’s the road that a gent named Federico Sceriffo chose to take with his own personal career as a drifter. And right off the bat, it’s easy to see why. This Ferrari drifter is undeniably cool, for starters. To the point where it attracts a crowd of people just sitting in the pits. But the road to manning the competitive drift Ferrari, which Sceriffo affectionately refers to as “Fiorella,” has obviously been a rocky one.

The rookie Pro Drift driver has had to admittedly adapt his driving style to match the aggressive nature of the sport. And even though the car was already chosen as his steed when he joined the FFF Drifting Department team, he’s obviously not disappointed. But in reality, who would be? Oh please no, don’t make me drive this twin-supercharged Ferrari around a track sideways all day. Said no one ever.

The drift Ferrari doesn’t need much more than a factory fresh V12 to do that, either. Except those twin superchargers, which are necessary because, as Sceriffo explains, “two is better than one.” Hard to argue with that logic. With just a little bit of boost, the Ferrari puts out a whopping 900 horsepower. But more importantly, it’s easily the coolest Pro Drift car in existence today!
