U.K.’s ‘Coffee, Cakes & Classic Cars’ Set for September 21
Over 300 guests and seven car clubs are expected at third installment of popular U.K. auto show benefiting MS Society.
E-Type U.K. and DM Historics are honored to be welcoming hundreds of motoring enthusiasts to the latest installment of Coffee, Cakes & Classic Cars. Taking place on September 21 at the businesses’ state-of-the-art U.K. workshops in Hadlow, Kent, this next iteration of the fan-favorite event is set to be the grandest yet.
Throughout the day a host of wonderful motorcars spanning decades of automotive history will join E-Type U.K. and DM Historics’ latest restoration projects and stock. Over 300 guests are due to attend with a plethora of stunning cars alongside a number of prestigious drivers’ clubs from across the country. The likes of the Aston Martin Owners Club, Rolls-Royce and Bentley Drivers Club, and the E-type and XK clubs are all set to be represented at North Frith Farm in Kent.
Coffee, Cakes & Classic Cars is also in support of a very important charity: the MS Society. All proceeds from the sale of coffee and cake from the event will go towards the charity and will be doubled by the businesses. Freshly baked pizza can also be purchased from The Safari Pizza Company, all cooked and served from the back of their unique converted Land Rover.
E-Type U.K. and DM Historics will be displaying their latest range of stock from a freshly restored 1960 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud II DHC by H.J Mulliner, to a 1965 Jaguar E-type Series 1 4.2 Semi-lightweight. There will be plenty of classics to admire at the event. The workshops are also proud to be opening their doors to the public with demonstrations of how to best maintain your pride and joy, as well as the industry-leading work they carry out on some of the country’s most iconic sportscars.
Pre-1960 parking is available via application prior to the event. Simply drop an email to set aside a spot for your pride and joy. A wonderful gathering of like-minded car lovers, September’s event is free to attend. It’s also the perfect round-off for a glorious summer in the U.K.
“It will be an honor to welcome visitors to our workshops for the next installment of Coffee, Cakes & Classic Cars,” said founder Marcus Holland. “To be able to gather hundreds of like-minded [car lovers] in the Kent countryside for a morning of motoring, all in the name of charity, is going to be a privilege. If you have a few hours free and want to drive by for a spot of coffee and cake, surrounded by swathes of classic cars, we would be delighted if you could make it.”
