Conor McGregor’s Fleet Represents the Flash & Brash of His Game

Before the Irish MMA fighter brings the pain in UFC 229 on Oct. 6, check out the awesome cars that his success has brought him.

Did you hear? Conor McGregor is set to go toe-to-toe in the octagon against the undefeated Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event for UFC 229 on Saturday, October 6, at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Nurmagomedov is the current UFC Lightweight Champion. McGregor held the title once, and would like to take the championship back after being stripped of it in April of 2018 due to inactivity.

Before then, HotCars released this excellent look on McGregor’s fleet of luxury and performance vehicles, which reflect the MMA fighter’s penchant for flash out of the ring, and beasting all over the competition inside.

Of course, everyone has to start at the bottom, including McGregor. When he was coming up in the MMA game, his first car was a Vauxhall Astra, which he once called his “pride and joy.” This was followed by a beat-and-busted Peugeot 206, which he had to kick-start, “push it down the road and then jump in it and hope it wouldn’t conk out” by the time he hopped in. Thankfully, driving hoopties like these would disappear in the rear view mirror as his game and fortunes improved.

According to HotCars, 2015 was the year McGregor stepped up his ride game, starting with a Bentley Continental GTC convertible, then a Rolls-Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe after defeating Jose Aldo in 13 seconds at UFC 194. And of course, he would later drop $400,000 on a Rolls-Royce Dawn “for the Rolls Royce Don.” McGregor definitely digs his Rollers and Bentleys.

McGregor also loves German luxury performance, such as the BMW i8 he bought prior to his 2017 fight with Floyd Mayweather. At the same time, he also bought a Mercedes-Benz S550, just because he could. And just because he can, why not add a BMW 730D M Sport to the mix, too?

When McGregor wants to put the hammer down in style, he has rides for that, too, including a couple of Lamborghinis, like the Aventador LP 700-4 Roadster. Meanwhile, his Corvette Stingray is perfect for cruising the neon streets of Vegas before or after a fight. And of course, McGregor would have a DeLorean on hand (though he won’t be able to go back in time in this DeLorean to stop himself from wrecking most of the UFC 223 card).
