Cardi B. Is a True-blue Lambo Fan…and New Aventador Owner
Rapper & husband ‘Offset’ show off very impressive new purchases.
Chart-topper Cardi B. is “blessed and gifted,” at least that’s what you would assume from ther recent Instagram post. The Bronx rapper shared a cool and colorful photo of herself and her husband, Kiari Cephus (better known as “Offset” from the hip-hop group Migos), showing off their brand new rides. And what truly incredible machines they are: two shiny his and hers Lamborghinis. Yeah, it’s good to be Cardi B.
That one post tells us everything we need to know about the popular rapper: beneath the glam exterior, she’s a diehard car enthusiast with great taste in super cars. As is her husband. Offset also shared the photo on his Instagram, writing, “Lambtalk: His & Hers.” If these Lambos are their daily drivers, we’re doubly impressed, and doubly envious.
We have to give props to Cardi B. again for her color choice. The soft blue really gives her Lambo a cool, hyper-stylish look that isn’t overly pretentious or showy. Sure, that last sentence probably seems weird describing anything owned by Cardi B., but it’s true in this case. That is one gorgeous car and color.
Offset’s Lamborghini looks magically delicious in a lime green hue that gives the super car a flashy aura that’s gonna get noticed even by non-super car fanatics. If that’s his intention, there’s no way he won’t find immediate results.
Then again, a Lambo is a Lambo, and if we were lucky enough to share a new Lamborghini on Instagram, we wouldn’t care if it was hot pink with purple polka dots, as long as it’s a Lambo.
Cardi B. confirms in her July 29 Instagram post that she and Offset are the proud “official Lamb owners” of the blue and green Lamborghini Aventadors that she and her husband are sitting on in the photo.
We have to give props to a determined auto enthusiast who turned a super car fantasy into reality.
Now, of course, the Internet has its share of trolls, and some tried to take the rapper to task, commenting that the Lambo is probably a renter, with one hater inferring that a Lambo is no big deal when “you can rent one for $80,000.” Our guess is that person making the comment couldn’t even come up with the $80K rental fee, if that was the case. So why even question it? She’s definitely sitting on a Lambo, and that’s a lot closer than many people ever get to one.
Full disclosure: Over here at Team Speed, we tend to spend most days around the office listening to Zeppelin or the Stones. So, even though we don’t have any Cardi B. on our Spotify, we have to give props to a determined auto enthusiast who turned a super car fantasy into reality. “Blessed and gifted” are the words we’d use too if we were gifted a pair of Lambos! It’s great to see a fellow super car enthusiast hit the big time and then immediately do what pretty much every one of us would do: head to the nearest Lambo dealership. (But we’d be crankin’ Zeppelin in our Lamborghini.)
