CAR Magazine: Next Bugatti Will Hit 288MPH
With its astronomical top speed, the Veyron has been king of the supercar mountain since its release in 2005, and the following years saw top speeds rise from 253 to 267 mph. But even though Koenigsegg’s Agera R—unconfirmed terminal velocity: 272.8 mph—are nipping at the Bugatti’s heels, the company has no intention of surrendering it’s crown—the next version of the Veyron will reported hit a staggering 288 mph.
