Car & Driver takes the 458 Spider to the famous Stelvio Pass
Color us jealous. Car and Driver’s European correspondent Jethro Bovingdon, enjoys some top-down seat time in one of our favorites, the 562hp Ferrari 458 Spider. The kicker is he gets to do it on one of Italy’s most famous road, the Stelvio Pass. The road was completed in 1825 by the Austrian Empire to connect the former Austrian province of Lombardia with the rest of Austria, and at 9045 feet, its the highest paved mountain pass in the Eastern Alps, featuring 60 hairpin tunrs, and breathtaking views.
