Accused of Leasing Her Lambo, Cardi B. Presents Receipts

We recently reported that rapper Cardi B. and her husband Offset showed off their new Lamborghini Aventadors on Instagram. The post went viral online, and attracted the attention of a number of haters who raised both an eyebrow and a few questions. But the outspoken Cardi B. shut these rumors down by showing the receipts, literally.
As we reported, Cardi B. received a number of comments online accusing her of leasing her ride. But, as Complex reports, the feisty rapper was having none of it, and she shut down all the trolls by posting her bank statement in a now-deleted post on Twitter. It was a cool move, showing that not only does the “Bodak Yellow” singer apparently own her badass ride, but she paid cash for it, too. That’s a bold play.
After that seemed to shut up the peanut gallery, Cardi B. tweeted in joking exasperation, “I can’t get a whip in peace!” But let’s face it, in the end she gets the last laugh, and the best revenge: A brand new Lamborghini.
