2000-Horsepower GT-R Crushes Everything at Texas Invitationals
The last time I talked to the guys over at AMS Performance, their Alpha Omega GT-R was only running around 1400 horsepower … only. They’ve come up with something a bit faster since then.
This last week was The Texas Invitationals. If you are unfamiliar with what it is, essentially holy-crap levels of horsepower unleashed on a runway seeing who can go the fastest. Go here to find out more about it all.
The new Alpha Omega has a grand total of … wait for it, 2,000 horsepower. It’s still the GT-R motor, albeit hugely boosted, and still runs on the street, and it dominated the entire event. They just released a bit of footage of the event for us all to check out.
It walks everything. It’s like the other cars are standing still. This is the next level of speed.  I’m supposed to head over to the AMS shop soon and I will have many more pictures and hopefully some video as well.  I can’t wait.
