1M RAZE Shows Weight Reduction Done Right

A little while ago, we drove the feisty BMW 1 Series M Coupe, or 1M as we all know it, and we loved it. But if there was an area that it could improve on, it’d be weight.

Yes, the 1M could go on a diet and no-one would complain about “positive body image”. And seeing as BMW won’t do it, the guys from RevoZport stepped up to the plate.

It has created the 1M Raze, a series of weight reduction features which can be bought individually, or as a complete package.

For example, there’s a carbon bonnet which has integrated cooling vents that allow hot air to escape while feeding cooler air into your cold-air intake.

There are also brake disc ducts which aren’t just for show – they actually deliver cold air to your discs, cooling it more efficiently. With that and the weight reduction from carbon-fibre goodies, the 1M becomes a whole new animal.

For those with these little beasts, it’s probably worth checking out. After all, a little enhancement never hurt anyone.
