I may have ruined a perfectly good scotch!

Hi,
Bloody Victorians.
Fresh apple juice/ brandy/ dash of pouring cream
Give that a crack next time. It can handle a spritz of some sort also, depending on how much brandy you use. I like the way fresh apple juice clouds in a cocktail glass - very visual.
With Vodka, there's really no such thing as adding the 'wrong' thing to Vodka. The better the Vodka, the more neutral the taste (though mouthfeel will increase) so it really is like you're adding Vodka TO something, rather than the other way around.
Scotch is scotch. Stop messing with it. The only thing to add to Scotch is water.
Cheers,
Nik

2 small cubes of ice is more than enough water ... I enjoy the chill it imparts
